It was already for the eighth time that Anke Becker realised her exhibition project "Anonymous Drawings". For the first time, this year’s project took place in Kunstraum Kreuzberg/Bethanien and also served to support the Kunstraum. Artists, who like to draw, were invited via mail, local and international announcements to participate with a maximum of three drawings each. One of these drawings was shown anonymously, irrespective of its format, material and authorship, and could be purchased for 150 euros. Of this amount, 100 euros were transferred to the artist, 50 euros were given to the Kunstraum Kreuzberg/Bethanien as a donation and to support the realisation of the exhibition and future projects. The artist’s name was not disclosed until the drawing was sold.
